Staff: Tri-County SC Co-leader
SherRie M. Blango is the leader for the Tri-County (Berkley, Charleston, and Dorchester) chapter of Women of Purpose Fellowship Ministries (WOPFM). It was April 17, 1994 when SherRie got a heartfelt passion to minister to a person’s whole being; spirit, mind, body, and soul, by sharing the Word of God, encouraging intimate relationships with GOD and teaching others to apply the Word in everyday life. Shortly after being introduced to WOPFM, she immediately connected with the vision and knew this was the ministry that would help fulfill that passion.
SherRie is the loving wife of Dwayne Blango and together they are the proud parents of five children, David, Tara, Dwayne, Dana, and Damon and three wonderful grandchildren. She is employed by Boeing Inc. and also serves as a part-time beauty consultant; who also finds time to fellowship at Faith Assembly of God in Summerville, South Carolina; under Pastor Larry and Jeanne Burgbacher.
In her spare time when she is not doing ministry work, she loves to read books that encourage her to be a better person in Christ, developing better leadership skills and she loves going to the movies. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path". She says it's her job to lead one to the Cross, by sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others.

Patricia A. Hobley, serves as co-leader of the Tri-county chapter of WOPFM located near Charleston, SC. Having giving her life to Christ as a young teenager, she experienced a re-birth like none before as she became more involved with the ministry. She wanted to share that same type of revitalization with others and thus offered up her time, talent and resources to help serve others in her community, via the ministry.
Born and raised in the small town of Ridgeville, South Carolina. She is the second eldest of five siblings. She is also the gracious wife of Mr. Rodney Hobley and together they have two wonderful daughters, Erica and Patrice and one granddaughter. She and her family attend Bethel AME Church of Ridgeville, South Carolina, where she works with the youth department.
After graduating from Harleyville-Ridgeville High school, Patricia earned an Associate degree in computer programming from Columbia Jr. College and later attended Paresinne Cosmetology School, earning her license in Cosmetology. She has made her career at Robert Bosch Corporation with over 26 years of service where she currently serves as a Quality Technician.
Patricia enjoys singing, cooking and doing hair, but more importantly, she enjoys helping others. She is inspired by her leaders in this ministry, Sophfronia and SherRie, but most of all the Word of God. Her favorite scriptures are “Whatever you ask in my name, that I will do, that the father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13), and “He will not leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Tonya McGill is an awesome teacher in her own right. She is known for her bold and enriching impartation of God’s word. She has the emphasis in ministering as her husband and Pastor, which is teaching Christians the importance of exhibiting Christian conduct and being living epistles for the Lord. She passionately teaches the uncompromising word of God in a simple, scriptural manner, inspiring and challenging the hearer to do the word of God. She is highly regarded for her strong determination and fortitude. Rev. McGill faces and conquers challenges head-on and is a beacon of inspiration for women to build and restore strong marital relationships. Pastor Marian is the wife of Steven McCoy whom she loves, honors, and respects. Together they parent three beautiful children Tiana, Brittney and Steven II. She is the daughter of Walter and Pastor Yvonne C. Yates of Philadelphia, PA.
Marian accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at six years of age. She was taught from a young age the importance of serving others by her grandfather, the late Pastor Cleveland Malachi Edwards. As she observed the love, respect and time he gave to the community as he took a stand against injustice, she found herself driven to fight the same fight, giving those who had no voice a voice.
A Howard University graduate with a degree in political science (minor in administration of justice) having continued through both high school and college to fight injustices and with all her activities, accomplishments and accolades (albeit worthy), came to realize her life did not honor God. At twenty three years of age she repented of her sins and rededicated her life to the Lord. She became a student of the Word of God.
Answering the call into ministry in the summer of 1986, she began ministerial training under the leadership of Pastor John A. Cherry Sr., Full Gospel A.M.E. Zion Church, Temple Hills, MD. Relocating to Columbus, OH, in the summer of 1992, she continued her studies and ministerial training at the Gospel Lighthouse School of Ministry.
On March 8, 1997 after being examined and approved by a council of clergy she received a Certificate of Ordination from Pastor Yvonne C. Yates, Philadelphia, Pa.
In the spring of 1999 she was called to Pastor and served faithfully as one of the pastors at Trevitt New Life Ministries until 2002 when she was called by God to begin a work called ‘My Father’s Heart Ministries’ a Prophetic Teaching (grass root, boot camp, back to basics) ministry which emphasizes discipleship, fellowship, healing, holiness and wholeness (spirit, soul and body) where she currently serves as pastor.
Called and operating in the offices of Prophet, Teacher, Pastor and Apostle, she travels locally and abroad proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, conducting workshops, seminars, conferences and biblical training. She has touched the lives of many in the Christian, private and public sectors. Known for her unconditional love, steadfastness, faithfulness, wisdom and counsel; her ability to seek and know the heart of the Father; to search out the deep things of God and to reach the hearts of people her desire is never to be a stumbling block nor bring shame to God or the people she is called to serve.
"She wishes to be known by Philippians 3: 7-9. But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:"
