Phyllis Dogan
Vice President-
Phyllis is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has been happily married for over 20 years and is a mother of two young adults. She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior in April 1983 while attending Loyola Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. Phyllis’ full realization of walking in the life as a Christian was not truly understood until she became a member of Victory Christian Church International (VCCI) located in Gaithersburg, Maryland under the leadership of Pastors Dwayne and Kitt Brewington.Phyllis has worked faithfully with the youth of VCCI, is a member of the Partner Care Ministry where she is a dedicated Deacon serving the members of VCCI.
The seeds deposited in Phyllis’ life from the VCCI ministry teaching on finances encouraged her to start her own business “Sisters In Christ” where she focuses on assisting God’s people with tax preparation, budgeting and understanding the biblical principles related to finances. Phyllis serves as Education Partner for the Christian Women’s Investment Association (CWIA) of Maryland and Vice President of Women of Purpose Fellowship Ministries (WOPFM).
Phyllis is a 1981 graduate of Southern University, Baton Rouge. She has been employed over the past 25+ years as a Software Engineer, Marketing Engineer and Systems Engineer in both the federal and commercial arena for two major Aerospace companies.
Aulet Parker
Treasurer-
Aulet K. Parker and her daughter, Mari Alyce reside in Clemmons, NC. Along with her role as treasurer for WOPFM, she is a partner with Christian Women's Investment Association of Atlanta and serves as Officer of Education. Aulet obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from North Carolina State University (NCSU) and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language and Auditory Pathology from East Carolina University. She has enjoyed working as a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist since 1994.Aulet and Sophfronia (founder/president of WOPFM) began a longtime friendship during their time at NCSU where they were members of the United Student Fellowship, a campus ministry. During their time in Raleigh, Sophfronia and Aulet, along with two other sisters, began what became an in-home bible study/fellowship. Aulet, like Sophfronia, believes the success of that group ignited a passion for what has ultimately become the Women of Purpose Fellowship Ministry. Aulet spearheads the Winston-Salem, NC fellowship. She is currently pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors which she hopes will further serve to equip the saints spiritually, emotionally, financially, and physically.
Stacey Mangham
Parliamentarian-
Born and raised in Zebulon, Georgia, Stacey Mangham has served in leading and supporting capacities to music and teaching ministries most of her life with an emphasis on service to others. Her passion for service was first illuminated at the Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Zebulon and included teaching and coordinating summer bible school and Sunday school, serving on usher teams as well as, singing and playing the piano and organ for four choirs simultaneously. In her current role as Parliamentarian of WOPFM, Stacey works to ensure order and equity in its operations.Stacey has always had a passion towards a multi-faceted approach to ministry that includes empowering young women and families, serving the community, achieving leadership excellence, teaching, administration and music. During her professional pursuits, Stacey consistently continued in her quest to strengthen her relationship with Christ through her memberships at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Washington, DC and Ben Hill United Methodist Church in Atlanta, GA. Stacey has also lived out her passions by serving in several civic and professional organizations, as well as, conducting Strategic Planning and Conflict Resolution workshops to help non-profit groups. Stacey continues in her multi-faceted quest for ministry through her current involvement in WOPFM, and in CWIA of Atlanta, where she is a founding Partner and Parliamentarian of the club. In addition to continuing her ministry and community involvement, Stacey enjoys hosting guests in her home, reading, cooking, traveling and playing the piano.
Stacey received her formal training from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee Institute, Alabama where she received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and was a member of the Tuskegee University Golden Voices Concert Choir. Subsequently, she received a Masters of Science in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Stacey manages a team of 12 Systems Engineers for a large Aerospace and Defense contractor and is currently the Lead for her company’s business area African American Affinity Group which focuses on Leadership, Career Development, and Community Service.
Deatra Fleming
Secretary-
Deatra Fleming is a native and current resident of Greenville, SC where she is employed full-time as an administrative assistant with a rehabilitation hospital. Deatra accepted Christ at an early age at her home church of Mount Ararat Baptist Church where she was an active member of the Youth Choir. She later continued her pursuit of God as a member of the Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church where she was an active member of the Youth Ministry. It was not until seven years ago that Deatra came to have a true intimate relationship with the Lord. Since then following Jesus has been her passion.Deatra serves as leader of the Greenville Fellowship of WOPFM and is currently a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church (BBC) in Simpsonville, SC, where she serves as Treasurer of the Women’s Ministry and former member of the praise team. While Deatra is no longer a member of the BBC-Praise Team, she loves to worship the Lord. She has a sincere desire to see God’s women set free and walking in their God given destiny. In her spare time she enjoys reading and shopping.
SherRie Blango
Staff: Tri-County SC Co-leader-
SherRie M. Blango is the leader for the Tri-County (Berkley, Charleston, and Dorchester) chapter of Women of Purpose Fellowship Ministries (WOPFM). It was April 17, 1994 when SherRie got a heart felt passion to minister to a person’s whole being; spirit, mind, body, and soul, by sharing the Word of God, encouraging intimate relationships with GOD and teaching others to apply the Word in everyday life. Shortly after being introduced to WOPFM, she immediately connected with the vision and knew this was the ministry that would help fulfill that passion.SherRie is the loving wife of Dwayne Blango and together they are the proud parents of five children, David, Tara, Dwayne, Dana, and Damon and two wonderful grandchildren. She is employed by Global Aeronautical and also serves as a part-time beauty consultant; who also finds time to serve as a deaconess at Christ Tabernacle of Praise in North Charleston, South Carolina; under the leadership of Pastors Michael and Barbara Gladden.
In her spare time when she is not doing ministry work she loves to read books that encourages her to be a better person in Christ. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path". She says it's her job to lead one to the Cross, by sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others.
Anna Burse
Staff: Hospitality Committee Chairperson-
Anna Burse is the Hospitality Committee Chairperson of Women of Purpose Fellowship Ministries, where she is responsible for registration materials and making participants feel welcome.Anna accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age in her hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. When she relocated to Buffalo, New York, Anna became a member of Walls Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church in Buffalo, New York, where she is the Director of the Christian Education Department, a Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Gospel and 4th Sunday Choirs. Among her other activities, Anna is also an active member of the Christian Women’s Investment Association of Maryland.
Anna received her Bachelor’s Degree from Southern University in Baton Rouge, her Master’s from Herbert H. Lehman College in New York City, and is employed by the New York State Education Department. She is married to Jerome Burse, and the mother of two daughters, Mia and Enjoli.
Mia Burse

Mia is very thankful and appreciative for her relationship with God, and He has blessed her with many gifts that are useful to churches and businesses. She was raised in Buffalo, New York where she was given the opportunity to express herself at a young age as a member of Walls Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church. Now, as a member of People’s A.M.E. Zion Church in Syracuse, New York, she has utilized her educational and formal training for building God’s Kingdom. Mia is currently the Budget Analyst of People’s A.M.E. Zion Church’s Central Budget Board, the Liturgical Dance Team Choreographer for the Children, Youth, and Young Adults, and a member of the Praise & Worship Team and Young Adult Choir among other things.Mia is also very passionate about giving back to the community. Her affiliations include, but are not limited to the Alzheimer’s Association, the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, the March of Dimes, the Morgan State University Alumni Mentor Program, the Salvation Army of Syracuse, and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Mia is also an active member of the Syracuse Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a public service organization.
Mia holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance (cum laude), and a Master’s of Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing. She has been and is currently employed by several Fortune-500 Companies, including Wachovia Securities and Lockheed Martin Corporation. Mia also recently founded her own business, Divine Destiny Enterprises, LLC which assists churches, non-profits and small businesses with their finance and marketing needs.
Patricia Hobley
Staff: Tri-County SC Co-leader-
Patricia A. Hobley, serves as co-leader of the Tri-county chapter of WOPFM located near Charleston, SC. Having giving her life to Christ as a young teenager, she experienced a re-birth like none before as she became more involved with the ministry. She wanted to share that same type of revitalization with others and thus offered up her time, talent and resources to help serve others in her community, via the ministry.Born and raised in the small town of Ridgeville, South Carolina. She is the second eldest of five siblings. She is also the gracious wife of Mr. Rodney Hobley and together they have two wonderful daughters, Erica and Patrice. She and her family attend Bethel AME Church, where she sings on the choir, serves as a Sunday school teacher and works with the youth department.
After graduating from Harleyville-Ridgeville High school, Patricia earned an Associate degree in computer programming from Columbia Jr. College and later attended Paresinne Cosmetology School, earning her license in Cosmetology. She has made her career at Robert Bosch Corporation with over 18 years of service where she currently serves as a Quality Technician.
Patricia enjoys singing, cooking and doing hair, but more importantly, she enjoys helping others. She is inspired by her leaders in this ministry, Sophfronia and SherRie, but most of all the Word of God. Her favorite scriptures are “Whatever you ask in my name, that I will do, that the father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13), and “He will not leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Bridget Love

Bridget is a native of Columbus, Ohio. I accepted Christ at an early age and I have been serving in various ministries. My husband and I have been married for 15 years, we have four boys. Lord blessed me with an “Army Man”, so I have had the opportunity to live and worship in Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, Arizona, Alabama and currently we are in Virginia. The Lord has kept us covered with awesome leadership each time, we plant seeds; we water them and when our season is over He takes us somewhere else to share our ministry.I really enjoy fellowshipping with women and I love counseling the youth, but my passion is dancing for the Lord. I am a member of Calvary Revival Church Suffolk under the leadership of Pastor Harold McPherson. I am a counselor for our Teenz Ministry and I minister with Destiny Dance Ministry. I am also the Northeastern Regional Director for MasterPiece International Dance Ministry.
The Lord blessed me to receive a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a major in Management from Fort Valley State University. Later, while pregnant with my youngest son He gave me the strength to receive a Masters degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. I am a High school business teacher where I am challenged every day. God is so good!
I was introduced to WOPFM, through my Sister –in-law (Angela Wims), she invited me to a retreat in Charlotte, N.C.; about three years ago. I enjoyed the fellowship it seemed like I had been knowing everyone forever and I’ve been hooked every since. With the help of my spiritual father and my dear friend and Sister Starlette Holland, Hampton Roads WOPFM was birthed. I am a gifted cook and I enjoy traveling, shopping and being with family and friends.
Undra Odiakosa

Undra, a native of Bonneau, SC (near Charleston) is the middle child of Sam and Sandra Hamilton, a loving wife and proud mother of three blessed children (Tebin, Miasha and Marcus). She grew up as an active member in her home church but came into true relation with the Lord nearly five years ago, through the anointed ministry of High Point Christian Church in Smyrna, GA. Currently, Undra attends City of God Ministries in Marietta, GA where she is in charge of evening prayer.
Being a wife, mother and full-time employee has not hindered her quest for education. She has attended Spelman College and is currently pursuing a Business Management degree at Chattahoochee Technical College. One of her future aspirations is to obtain a degree in Theology, where her true passion lies.
Undra is considered a ‘woman of worship’. She has a passion for small group fellowships and delights in ushering in the presence of the Lord. In her spare time, she enjoys sharing the gospel with others, the outdoors, reading and playing basketball.
Deborah Soles

Deborah grew up in the great state of New York where she also attended college. She later migrated south to Gaithersburg, MD where she currently resides and lives with her husband and two lovely children.
One of her passions is to live by the “word of God”. Her faith is renewed and encouraged by the anointed teachings of her Pastors at Victory Christian Church where she has been a member for several years. Don’t be fooled by her quiet and meek spiritual side for she is a bold witness for the Lord.
Deborah is also very passionate about keeping fit. She is an avid cyclist and teaches “Weigh Down” classes at her church. She is also an entrepreneur and splits her time between her own personal business with Mary Kay and working as a Test Engineer with an Aerospace company. She is also a member of the Christian Women Investment Association of Maryland.
Tonya McGill

Tonya, an ordained Elder in August of 2001, is the Founder of Daughters of Faith Ministry. She is the loving wife of Norris Q. McGill who serves as Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church of Dallas, and a proud mother of three beautiful children.
Devoted to the vision of the ministry, she assists and serves with her husband by performing a variety of duties to assure that his God-given mandate is carried out. Rev. Tonya McGill is an awesome teacher in her own right. She is known for her bold and enriching impartation of God’s word. She has the emphasis in ministering as her husband and Pastor, which is teaching Christians the importance of exhibiting Christian conduct and being living epistles for the Lord. She passionately teaches the uncompromising word of God in a simple, scriptural manner, inspiring and challenging the hearer to do the word of God. She is highly regarded for her strong determination and fortitude. Rev. McGill faces and conquers challenges head-on and is a beacon of inspiration for women to build and restore strong marital relationships. She is also committed to training up youth to be strong, powerful men and women of God.
